Fort King George State Historic Site will be invaded again by the Scots this weekend.

Scottish Heritage Days will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 11-3 Sunday March.

There will be numerous demonstrations including pioneer skills, artillery and musket drills, Scottish cooking, music and dance, crafts and domestic skills, Highland weapons, 18thcentury merchants, Native Americans, and more.

The highlight is a re-enactment at 2 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. there will be a Kirkin’ O the Tartans, then at 1:30, there will be Scottish games with prizes.

The fort is at 302 McIntosh Road SE in Darien. Admission ranges from $4.50 to $7.50
