On Friday, March 5, Boy Scouts in Troop 500 and leader Dave Alleman completed 18 hours of training for the automotive maintenance merit badge, which is an elective merit badge.
To become an Eagle Scout, participants are required to earn 12 merit badges, eight of which must be electives.
Auto Zone also provided training, courtesy of manager Mr. Cannon, who showed the Scouts how an automotive parts store operates.
