“Could someone tell me why the two county fire departments, stations 15 and 12, seem to be getting more money than the local volunteer departments? There is inconsistency since the fire authority disappeared.”

“The Rev. Billy Graham said he looked forward to dying because he wanted to see God face to face. That’s the heaviest, most beautiful thing I ever heard in my 70 years of life.”

“Has there been some sort of change in Georgia rules about UTVs, golf carts, ATVs and unlicensed motorcycles? There seems to be a great number of them running Walthourville roads, and there doesn’t seem to be any enforcement.”

“Why can’t the traffic lights be realigned on Highway 84 at Walmart and Tractor Supply? It is an extremely dangerous intersection and even with all the delays, you have to wait for an extra light change.”

“That 111 percent pay increase should be put before the state board of ethics. There’s something fishy there.”

“I’m a disabled Vietnam vet with a disabled sticker. However, I rarely use the handicapped parking, leaving it for those who need it more. I see too many others who let other use their decals. Please don’t loan out your stickers to those who don’t need it.”

“Let’s cancel these elaborate pay raises and use the money for good work like school resources officers.”

“It’s like I said six month ago, the only change we’re going to get is when the young people get out there and protest what is happening in this government. Of course you didn’t put it in Sound off. But change is going to come, get some of this big money out of politics.”
