Is anybody old enough to remember when reruns on TV were only for two weeks in the summer? They’re showing old episodes of “The Price is Right,” claiming it’s Bob Barker’s birthday, when his birthday in fact is Dec. 12.

I would like to know why didn’t my room get cleaned? I was in the hospital, Liberty Regional, for a week. All housekeeping did was pick up the trash. Something needs to be done about this.

I agree with the writer about the old SOC station. I know for a fact one of the city councilmen lived less than a block right down the road from it. Maybe he needs to quit laying on his back in front of the courthouse and pay attention to what’s going on around him.

I would like to give a thank-you to the lady who was in the drive-through on Oglethorpe Highway who purchased all of the breakfasts of the people who were behind her in line. That was a blessing. Thank you, and God bless you.

I agree with the caller about voting out the politicians who laid in the street in protest. I agree that we need to vote out any race-baiters or politicians who sow division in this county.

Let’s talk about the salary of the superintendent. Glynn County superintendent: more schools, $185,000 a year. Chatham County: 35 schools-plus, $205,000 a year. Our superintendent: 12 schools, $190,000. Glynn County/Chatham County average $5,000 a school. Our superintendent gets $15,000 a school, and that makes sense? You can vote your district manager out, there is a law for it.

Why are teachers taking off points for students forgetting to write their name? I know they should know how to write their name, but writing your name is not a standard, especially in middle school or elementary school. So I think them taking off these ridiculous points is ridiculous. They’re not being graded on writing their name.
