The city council wants to go to Kenya — what do they have that we need? Why not stay here and do the job you were elected to do? Hinesville needs lots of improvements. Maybe we need to start with some intelligent councilmembers and not copy another country. Wine and dine Hinesville for a change. Save our money. Boy, you’re right, Hinesville is a hick town. Are you aware Fort Stewart has men and their families from all over the United States? I’m quite sure they’re not proud of this town or county. What do you think they are going back home and telling their families there?

I would like to say that in the Coastal Courier, they were talking about the poly-cart ordinance and the pay raises for the city councilmen. Pay raises don’t have anything to do with city poly carts. I would like to say to the person that called in, tell them we have a lot of people that complain about poly carts on the road with dogs in the trash all over the road. Tell that person to run for councilman that is complaining. Tell them to get out there and make a difference.

Yay! The parents, the children and the school teachers convince the FDA that the diet from Washington, D.C., was not good for the kids, and many were sitting in school starving. Thank goodness we have them taking care of the kids, not D.C.

This message goes out to the bubbas in the Quarterback Club and the outside morons on the hiring committee: Stay out of it this time. Let the principal, A.D. and teachers hire who’s best for Bradwell.
