Here are some of the issues area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

 

I’d really like to see people come to Hinesville, but have recommended to my relatives when they retire to not come here. I recommend they go somewhere were they have law enforcement and code enforcement.

I think that $4 million set aside from SPLOST for the new city hall should be spent to cause this city and its employees to do their jobs and make this city decent to live in, instead of just sitting their and get a big building, just like the school board.

 In Matthew 24:11, as a result of attitude divorce rates will skyrocket, sex outside of marriage and homosexuality are widely accepted and tens of millions of abortions are performed every year. In Matthew it says all this will go on at the end of time. And all this is going on now.
Who is Doc Williams? Why would Liberty County host a tourney at the same time as the Donell Woods tournament? Divisions still exist, even on this weekend.
