Regardless of how busy code enforcement and the police are, the poly-cart ordinance will fail simply because it’s ridiculous. And it’s being brought to us by the same administration that gave itself pay raises. It’s time to clean house.

Coastal Courier, you are always printing stuff about Long County on the front page. This is Liberty County’s newspaper, not Long County’s paper. I’m sick of Mike Riddle’s stories on the front page. Please put their opinion back further in the paper.

It would be nice if the Sudoku puzzle in the Wednesday Coastal Courier was larger so people could actually work it.

I’m an atheist. I think ancient aliens had babies with earthlings, and some of their offspring were gay people. Why would God make an error that insane?

No wonder people go out of town to do business in Savannah, Jesup and Brunswick because we have Applebee’s being rude to the service member on Veterans Day. Here in Midway, my husband stopped at a shopping center and parked in an empty lot in front of a store. A lady ran out of that store and told him she’d let him park there this time, but he better never do it again.

I used to wonder why people say, “Talk is cheap.” I understand now. You have people who promise they’ll do something, but when the time comes to do it, they don’t delivery on their promise. If you can’t deliver, don’t promise.

The Dawgs might have had a rough go of it this year, but we’re thankful to them for the season we had. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. We’ll be back next year. Go Dawgs!
