I commend Sunday’s letter writer for what the board of education is doing. He had his facts together. The board and staff have bought that college, but shouldn’t have until they got public input on it.

I’m grateful for the new businesses coming here. But do we get a rebate on the field trip that the mayor and his delegates took to China, which hasn’t brought any new business here?
