I am so disappointed that there was nothing in the paper about ex-Midway mayor Don Emmons, who passed away. Had it been another mayor that passed away, I’m sure there would have been something in the paper.

Liberty County animal control is useless, just plain useless.

How long do principals have to give evaluations back? It’s been two weeks and I still don’t know how I did.

You people who drink and drive, come over to Long County. We use the good ol’ boy system here.

I knew a major restaurant in Hinesville wasn’t going to last. They were serving raw vegetables. Sad, sad, sad.

I agree with the caller about Dr. Lee being rude, texting and everything. She was even texting while we were doing the national anthem.

I would like to know why the board of education gave elementary students and parents the option of bringing iPads home? Why weren’t the middle school-age students given that option? I would rather send their iPads back to school and get my money back that I paid for that useless insurance.

It is really sad. Many people voted for Obama because he was black. Now, he’s more concerned about people who are not even American citizens, giving them jobs over the black kids of the city and other cities of America. This is really a sad day for America.

I told my wife I had read in the paper the city was going up on taxes, the county, the hospital authority, the industrial authority, so we’ve got to move? That’s what it looks like it’ll boil down to. Maybe move out of Liberty County.
