The first week of July, the tax commissioner had an informative meeting in Midway, and the chairman of the county commission promised the taxpayers that there would be a meeting held with the chairman of the board of assessors, but I have yet to see that meeting scheduled. I was wondering if the chairman of the county commission was going to follow up on his promise for the taxpayers of Liberty County. This meeting would concern property taxes.

I would like to understand how the Liberty County Board of Education calls us and tells us about the new vaccination requirement, and then says go to the website to read more about it. You go to the website, and there’s nothing there. I would really like it for the information to be updated so that we can read that website without trying to understand all of the information they’re saying on the phone. Please update your website, board of education.

I’m calling in reference to the comment that was made June 19 to represent Obama and talking about how Congress doesn’t work with him. That’s because Obama doesn’t work with anyone. He does it all by himself, and he doesn’t care about his people here. The funds are not being put in the right place, and instead are given to other countries. I think he should pay attention to us first.

The chairman of the county commissioners promised the taxpayers of Liberty County a meeting with chairman of the tax assessors’ board. We’re still waiting on the meeting.
