With regard to Mike Riddle’s guest-column politics, I have only one thing to say: The louder he squeals, the better I feel.
 
To the people that say, “God knows all and sees all,” you can’t honestly believe that unless you think he sees everybody except you.

If you served in the combat zone where bullets were flying over your head, you’re a veteran. If you were not in the combat zone, you are a retiree. If you were in Korea after 1953, that does not make you a veteran. I don’t care how many times you visited at the DMZ, demilitarized zone. Salutations to all the true veterans of the VFW.
