Is there any way the Fort Stewart command can get involved with what’s going on at the Liberty County Board of Education? This is ridiculous. I called the board of education to talk to a board member, and was told I could not speak to them. What in the world is going on in this community?

I see that the board of education is going to cut pre-K. I think they are looking at the wrong area. Maybe they should be looking at the administration to cut 20 percent of their salaries.

Taylors Creek Elementary has always been a top-notch school. Let’s not let it be one of the worst.

About Jesus being born in a towel: you are wrong. The Bible says he is born and wrapped in swaddling clothes in the manger.

It’s on TV about the measles outbreak. Can someone write an article about it how it is spread?

The caller said we should be going to the board of education meetings to have a voice. Yet when you go to meetings, no one gets to speak.

I hope that the people of Liberty County do not believe it when they read that our superintendent got input from administration, teachers and other stake holders. No one has been allowed to give input. The budget cuts have been dictated by the superintendent.

How is it that the board of education can purchase six to eight new Ford Fusions, two or three new Ford trucks this school year, and now want to purchase two new Kias when school buses are breaking down and not getting fixed nor purchasing new buses? What happened to the safety of our precious cargo? The Coastal Courier should do an investigation as to what’s going on with the taxpayers’ money.

This is in regards to keep Liberty County beautiful on the Isle of Wight. We need some police down here in the Isle of Wight. There is no speed limit here; there are a few signs around but people can’t read. Plus, the motorcycles and a few autos will wake you up or get your attention as they drive by. Also, we have burning of trash here. Keep Liberty County beautiful.
