I’m just calling to commend all the faculty of Midway Middle School for doing a great job in moving the students and my granddaughter, which was one of the students there, to safety. They did an outstanding job, no matter how many parents out there were complaining. They should be ashamed of themselves for complaining because Midway Middle School did an outstanding job. I would like to commend them and thank them very much for having my grandchild safe. Thank you.

I am veteran of 21 years of service, I belong to all veteran organizations. I just set up a POW-MIA table at the Golden Corral for Veterans Day. Some sorry, and I mean sorry, individual stole the Bible off the table. We will see you on the tape, so please return it or you will be very, very sorry.

Driving through town today … in Ludowici and noticed that the tax commissioner finally is being able to move back to her building that was practically demolished. I know she has had to work out of matchbox trailer.

I thank Mr. Steve Sikes for coming so quickly during the bomb scare at the Midway Middle School, but as a parent, it was an hour later, after whatever happened, they gave me a call. I’d like to receive a call faster than that. I dropped my child off at the school in the middle of the chaos. What are you supposed to do?
