I’d like to call about the SPLOST. Why do we need to extend the runway, since no airline is ever going to fly a large aircraft into Liberty Regional Airport? They’re trying to reduce routes and aircraft. They’re never going to fly in.

I just wanted to know why we do not have a mall here. I think it will benefit this county. Instead of bringing in all these other little small stores, just bring in a mall where people can have jobs and it bring money here to this area.

I am so happy for the Sellers family. I just read in the paper about the 2-year-old undergoing heart-transplant surgery and everything seemed to go well for the child. I just can hardly imagine what the family was going through. But I’m just so happy for the toddler and the family.

99 percent of the time that I drive by Lyman Hall school, the U.S. flag is not flying. What gives? Is the principal not proud of this great country? I actually called her and she told me that they get busy and forget to put it up. What a terrible example for the students. Terrible example.
