It’s very obvious that some of the board members are not paying attention to the money they are spending. Why would they hire additional football coaches they don’t need and then go and charge the schools fees for referees? The same money they are paying those coaches, they could use that money to pay referees.

They talk about raising Georgia Power rates as of Jan. 1, but if you’re like me and you’re on the flat-bill rate, your rate won’t go up until the anniversary of your flat bill. I called Georgia Power, and that’s what they told me.

 I’m pretty sure that the Hinesville community is too diverse not to have the opportunity to buy alcohol on Sundays if a person wants. If a person wants to buy alcohol on Sundays, they should be able to buy it. If you don’t want alcohol on Sundays, don’t buy it.
 
I wonder if some of these young men walking around with their drawers hanging down at half-mast and a sour expression on their face realize that they look like a 2-year-old walking around with a loaded diaper, waiting for mommy to change it.
 
Do you think maybe the Courier could go, say, three weeks without having a picture of Dr. Valya Lee in it? It’s like every dang issue.
