The Scarecrow Stroll, presented by the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday in downtown Hinesville.

Most downtown streets will be closed at 4 p.m. People are asked to move vehicles from Main, Commerce, East and West Court, Midway, West and Pine streets; East M.L. King Jr. Drive; and Central Avenue before 4.

Children will trick-or-treat downtown and enjoy bounce houses, hayrides, a haunted house, games and the Tumble Bus.

At 7 p.m., “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” will be shown in Main Street Park. The entire event is free.
