Liberty County High School honor graduate Donnie Pulliam has been working with his peers to re-establish the Morehouse College Republicans.
Pulliam, a freshman, also serves on the executive board for the new campus group. Pulliam has given several speeches on campus that led to his recent election as sophomore class senator for the fall 2014 semester.
On April 7, Pulliam met Gov. Nathan Deal at a spring gala in Atlanta hosted by the GOP.
Even though he is planning to become a defense attorney, Pulliam said he hopes to serve as a lawmaker some day.
Pulliam graduated from LCHS in 2013. He is the son of Monica Robertson and James Payno of Midway.
