For two months, Melissa Pingley’s fifth-grade students at Joseph Martin Elementary School and Principal Sue Tolley planned a surprise baby shower for Pingley.
The mom-to-be was taken by surprise May 12 when she walked into a room draped in pink decorations and her students yelled, “Surprise!”
Pingley is due July 1 and she plans to name the baby Maria Elisabeth. All of her students have signed up to babysit.
McDonalds, CiCi’s Pizza and Baldino’s contributed to the shower.
