Attendees of Thursday’s Hinesville Farmers Market will listen to tunes by Purified Sounds as they peruse fresh produce, arts and crafts, seafood, cheese, bread, grass-fed beef and baked goods. The market will be open from 4-8 p.m. and the concert will be set up next to the fountain in Bradwell Park from 6-8 p.m.
While adults check out the offerings and enjoy Purified Sounds’ jazz-soul cover hits, children can participate in free activities and games sponsored by Team Brandon.
“We play feel-good music that revives as it ripples through your soul,” Purified Sounds member Keith Milner said.
Shane’s Rib Shack will sell barbecue plates and patrons also can visit other downtown eateries for dinner options.
“We are expecting really great artists next week. Those who are interested in wood work, jewelry and hand-made fabric items such as bows and cloth diapers will have a lot to choose from,” HDDA program assistant Katrina Sage said.
The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market, in its second year, averages 10 to 12 vendors every Thursday from May through October. For more information on the market or Second Thursday Night Concerts in the Park, call Sage at 877- 4332 or email discoverdowntown@coastalnow.net.
