ing presents for their children Wednesday and Thursday.
The annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserves-sponsored drive is also gearing up for collections
"For the many volunteers who make Toys for Tots possible year after year, Toys for Tots embodies the true spirit of Christmas," campaign coordinator Angela Powell said.
She said that last year more than 2,400 children in the area received toys through the local campaign.
Applications will be take from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days at Powell's Exit Team Realty office, 567 W. Oglethorpe Hwy. in Hinesville. To apply bring along a photo ID of the main applicant, Social Security cards for each member of the household, including children, birth certificates to verify age, proof of address, documentation of sources of income and documentation of government benefits such as TANF, food stamps and Social Security.
