World-famous violinist and YouTube star Lindsey Stirling has written a memoir, "The Only Pirate at the Party," which will share personal experiences from her childhood, her struggle with anorexia and her rise to fame, according to lindseystirling.com.

In a video posted to YouTube, Stirling said she has been working on the book with her sister, Brooke Passey, for the past two years.

"I discuss my childhood, my experience on 'Americas Got Talent,' my struggle with anorexia and a plethora of embarrassing and hopefully entertaining stories in between," Stirling wrote on her website.

Stirling has openly discussed her struggle with anorexia, as well as the 'America's Got Talent' rejection that preceded her rise to international fame. Her growing YouTube channel now has 6.7 million subscribers and over 1 billion views.

Stirling's memoir is now available for preorder and is scheduled for release Jan. 12, 2016.
