Model Chrissy Teigen spent Sunday night tweeting about her recent flight from Los Angeles to Japan that turned into a flight to nowhere.

As Teigen unveiled in a series of tweets, the flight, which left LAX at about 8:30 p.m. Pacific time on Sunday, made an abrupt U-turn thanks to a mixup with a passenger onboard.

A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isnt supposed to be on this plane, Teigen tweeted. Why why do we all gotta go back, I do not know.

Teigen said she spent eight hours on a flight to nowhere.

According to ABC News, Teigen sent nearly a dozen tweets to her 9.2 million followers about the flight mixup. She said the plane turned around because a passenger boarded the All Nippon Airways flight with a ticket for another airline.

Her reaction:

She said the mystery would keep her up at night.

ANA later confirmed the mixup, according to ABC News.

"During the flight, the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot," the airline said in a statement. "As part of the airlines security procedure, the pilot in command decided to return to the originating airport, where the passenger was disembarked."

In the end, Teigen said she spent eight hours on a flight from LAX to LAX.

Teigen said later on Twitter that she was taking off on another flight, CNN reported. She also received ramen noodles.

Jensen Karp, the executive producer of TBS comedy show Drop the Mic, shared an image that showed Teigens flight path.
