9/11 Heroes Run returning to Bryant Commons
9/11

The Travis Manion Foundation, a national organization that supports veterans and families of fallen servicemembers, will be bringing the 9/11 Heroes Run back to the Coastal Georgia community. Since 2008, between September and October, the foundation puts on running events across the country to honor the sacrifices made by those who served during the events of 9/11 and after.

Last year, TMF’s Hinesville chapter hosted the area’s first Heroes Run event at Bryant Commons Park in Hinesville. With an overwhelmingly positive response from the community, the run will again be held at the local park on the morning of Saturday, September 9.

TMF also advocates for character development in youth, partnering with local institutions to help instill values such as leadership and gratitude into the next generation. In addition to supporting the area’s veterans, Hinesville’s chapter of the Travis Manion Foundation also collaborates with the Think Big Youth Organization, a local youth mentorship program, to highlight the importance of character in their summer programs and throughout the year.

The 9/11 Heroes Run invites participants of all ages to come together in remembrance of the brave men and women who protect and serve.

Registration for the run is open now and participants can use the code JASON!5 to save 15% off their registration fee. For more information or questions, the chapter can be found on Facebook at “TMF Hinesville Chapter” or contacted at hinesville.chapter@travismanion.com.
