Advance voting starts Tuesday at the Liberty County Elections Office for the Dec. 2 runoffs.
Offices up in the election are for U.S. Senate, Public Service Commission and the state Court of Appeals.
Because no candidate received 50 percent of the vote plus one, runoffs are required by Georgia law to decide who will hold the three offices.
Democrat Jim Martin is challenging incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Other runoffs are between Lauren McDonald, Republican and Jim Powell, Democrat, for an open seat on the Public Service Commission and Sara Doyle and Mike Sheffield for a vacancy on the appeals court, a nonpartisan race.
The election office at 102 S. Commerce St. is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Registered voters should bring picture ID to cast ballots.
