Ameris Bank representatives recently presented Liberty Regional with a $200,000 contribution through the Georgia Rural Hospital Tax Credit program. This is a portion of the generous donations made to 19 rural Georgia hospitals in their Ameris Bank serving areas. This tax credit program enables Georgia businesses and taxpayers to divert the states taxes they already pay, to their local hospital instead with no out-of-pocket cost.

As part of the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, Ameris Bank has donated $2,000,000 in financial support to 19 rural hospitals located throughout the bank’s footprint in Georgia. Ameris Bank has participated in the program since 2018, contributing over $6,000,000 to rural Georgia hospitals.

For more information on how to contribute and receive a 100% state tax credit through this program, visit www.georgiaheart.org.
