Anti-bullying rally set for Saturday morning

Save Our Next Generation (S.O.N.G.) will hold its annual anti-bullying rally, to be held October 12 from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Bryant Commons.

S.O.N.G. also will be taking it to the streets for a sidewalk rally displaying anti- bullying signs and posters.

The rally is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring their very own creative signs/posters and wear orange in support of bullying awareness. The event serves as an opportunity to connect with the community, learn about the impact of bullying and promote a safer, more inclusive society.

Mayor, Karl A Riles will be in attendance to give a welcome speech as will, Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald L. Lovette and NAACP president Dr. Eric Hollis. Hinesville City Council member Diana Reid will be the emcee for the rally event.
