Are you using your time well?

Ephesians 5:16 tells us to make the best use of our time.
We all have the same amount of it: 24 hours a day, 168 hours per week, etc. The only difference is how we use it.
We all have to sleep, eat, and hopefully bathe and if able bodied, work. Even work can get out of balance – we call those people workaholics. We get to choose how we spend most of our time and what gets the priority.
As our creator, God, demands that we put him first, Christians understand that being used to advance his kingdom requires the giving of time. This includes times for our own spiritual growth (Bible study and prayer) and taking time to worship (church).
We also need to take time for our families, for their spiritual growth and to show how much we care. Kids need a godly role model to follow and this requires time together.
Then we are instructed to love our neighbors, which requires time as we invest into helping to meet their needs.

What does your calendar look like? Does it show that Jesus Christ is at the center of your life? Does it show that your family is a priority? Do you need to make some changes?
