The Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA) announces that Atlantic Building Components, a leading wood truss manufacturer headquartered in South Carolina, has chosen Liberty County as the site of its Georgia expansion.

President and CEO Mr. Broach expressed his gratitude, saying, “The Coastal Georgia market has experienced tremendous growth, and we expect that momentum to continue,” said company president and CEO Jimmy Broach. “Establishing our new truss manufacturing plant in Hinesville strengthens our ability to serve customers more efficiently while building new relationships in the region. By manufacturing closer to our customers, we will reduce costs, increase responsiveness, and deliver greater value. This investment reflects our longterm commitment to supporting growth in Coastal Georgia.

The company, known internally as Project Roof during the selection process, specializes in high-quality trusses for residential construction, serving local, regional, and national builders. As part of its growth strategy, Atlantic Building Components sought the right location to expand into Georgia and found it in Liberty County.

The project represents a capital investment of $5 million to $7 million and will create 25 to 30 new jobs in the community.

“We are honored to welcome Mr. Broach and Atlantic Building Components to Liberty County,” said State Representative and LCDA Board Chairman Al Williams. “Their decision to locate here not only strengthens our business landscape but also creates new jobs that will benefit our community for years to come.”

The company’s new operations will be located in LCDA’s Hinesville Technology Park, a significant milestone as the first true business location in the park in more than a decade. In recent years, the LCDA has donated land in the park for public use, including a site for the Hinesville Fire Department.

“We are excited to see renewed activity in the park and to welcome Atlantic Building Components as the anchor for future business growth,” said LCDA CEO Brynn Grant. “We hope this location and the required extension of Technology Drive will encourage continued development in Hinesville Technology Park, paving the way for more companies and more jobs in our community.”

Atlantic Building Components’ decision underscores Liberty County’s strategic advantages for growing companies, including access to major transportation corridors, a skilled workforce, and a business-friendly environment.
