The Marne Community and Spouses’ Club (MCSC) is inviting the public to a fun evening that will raise money for scholarships for service members’ spouses and children and local community organizations that support the Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield Community.

The annual Beaches & Baskets Auction will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on March 21, 2020 at Club Stewart, 1020 Hero Rd., Fort Stewart.

The event includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, a wine pull and a live and silent auction.  This year Main Street, a high-energy, low country band will entertain guests with a mix of rock ‘n’ roll favorites from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s.

Doug Jarman, owner of Jarman Auction Company will conduct the live auction. The non-profit organization is collecting donations for the live and silent auction until March 13.

“We are thrilled with the generous donations that are pouring in from our community partners,” said MCSC President Stephanie Tucker. “Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 for service member’s spouses and children who otherwise might not be able to afford college, and grants for local organizations that support our community.”

Tickets to the event are $25 and will be on sale until March 13 at www.marnecommunityandspousesclub.com. The event is being sponsored by JNFG Enterprises, HulaFrog of Hinesville and Richmond Hill and Muse Collision. Additional sponsors and donors may contribute by emailing 1stvp@marnecommunityandspousesclub.com by March 13.
