The Liberty County Board of Education has authorized a onetime incentive payment of $500 for all eligible employees, including teachers, long-term substitutes in certified positions, and classified staff, in acknowledgment of their outstanding dedication and hard work.
This recommendation by Superintendent Dr. Franklin Perry was approved by the Board reflects the sincere appreciation for the commitment and resilience demonstrated by the Liberty County staff.
“Our employees are the heart of the Liberty County School System. They have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure our students receive a quality education, even amidst unprecedented challenges. This one-time incentive payment is a small token of our heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering commitment and essential role in shaping the future of our youth,” said Dr. Perry.
The one-time $500 incentive payment was distributed to eligible staff members on November 22. In addition to competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits, the district is also devoted to offering professional development opportunities, mental health resources, and other initiatives focused on empowering its workforce.
