Bomb threat at Bradwell Institute

Law enforcement authorities were searching Bradwell Institute in Hinesville after a bomb threat was called in Monday morning according to Hinesville Police Department Officer, Donnie Nunnally.

Nunnally said authorities searched the school.  The children were removed from the main school area and were held safely on the field and track grounds.

No one was allowed to enter or leave the school grounds with the exception of school buses on a case by case basis.

HPF Capt. Terranova Smith said a call was made to the school about the threat shortly after 9 a.m.

Bradwell was cleared for re-entry around 10:30 a.m. According to the LCSS IT and Mass Communications Coordinator Cathy Lane, classes are to resume according their normal schedules.
