A mother charged in concealing the death of her 6-year-old daughter had her bond set Monday morning in Liberty County Superior Court.

Judge Jay Stewart set bond for Sherry Perry at $100,000 in cash or $200,000 in property after Hinesville police officers discovered her daughter’s body May 1. She also is to have no contact with co-defendant Brandon Robinson, Judge Stewart ruled in setting bond. Perry also is prohibited from having any contact with anyone under the age of 18 unless another adult is present.

Perry faces charges of concealing the death of another, cruelty to children in the first degree, false statements and tampering with evidence.

HPD Detective Jonathan Santiago testified Perry told them the child actually died in another state and was brought to Hinesville. She initially told officers responding to her Saunders Avenue home that she had put the child to sleep the afternoon of May 1 but when she went to wake her daughter about four hours later she was unresponsive.

Perry and her boyfriend, Brandon Robinson, a truck driver, were traveling with three children. The other two were 4 years old and 18 months old.
