The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for portions of Liberty and Long counties, effective until 2:45 p.m.

At 1:56 p.m., a line of severe storms along a line extending from near Georgia Southern University to near Glennville were picked up on radar, moving northeast at 65 mph, with wind gusts of up to 70 mph.
