ATLANTA — The Technology Association of Georgia, in collaboration with the Business and Technology Alliance of TAG, is accepting applications and nominations for the 2013 Excalibur Awards, which recognize Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology, typically provided by a third-party, to solve complex issues and processes in business and education.
Tech-enabled companies that develop their own non-commercial technology solutions to enhance their organization also can apply.
Applications will be accepted until Aug. 16. Semifinalists will be selected by the judging committee. Companies selected as semi-finalists will submit a more detailed application or a three-minute video focused on the complexity of the problem, creativity of the solution and the return on investment/business results. Each video will be reviewed by the judging committee, which then will select finalists who will compete for the Excalibur Awards.
Companies will be recognized in one of five categories:
• Small companies
• Mid-sized companies
• Large companies
• Educational organizations
• Most creative solution
The awards ceremony will be held Oct. 18 in Atlanta. To apply or nominate, go to www.tagonline.org/events/excalibur-awards.
