Bottoms Up held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of its new business space April 8 at 217 C Butler St. in Midway. The event was done with support from the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
Bottoms Up owner Renae Stittgen welcomed staff, chamber staff and the public to the event. The business also offered snacks and refreshments.
“I’m proud of myself. I never expected that I would be here,” Stittgen said.
Bottoms Up offers used baby clothes (up to 2T), accessories and toys. It also buys all of these items to further stock their store.
Stittgen explained that her business began from a hobby of making baby clothes. She added that she has been in business since July 2012 and has constantly expanded her work space. The business moved to its new location last November, and re-modeling went on until April.
“I really enjoy that I’m helping others by doing this,” Stittgen said. “We hope to keep expanding.”
