The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently hired two new employees. Joining the chamber team is Angela Horner-Parrish and Kirsten Pratt.
“We are so pleased to have both Angela and Kirsten at the chamber to help us serve our membership base,” Executive Director Leah Poole said. “Both ladies bring a wealth of knowledge and talents to the chamber, and we could not be happier to have such a wonderful staff.”
Parrish has started as the membership services specialist. She has an extensive background in administrative functions and was hired specifically to serve current members.
Her duties include the retention of existing members, scheduling ribbon-cuttings, groundbreakings, Business after Hours, Progress Through People Luncheons and grand openings. She keeps the chamber’s website and membership materials active and handles all of the membership’s special projects. She also is responsible for managing the ambassadors program.
Parrish moved from St. Simons to Hinesville in 2007. She is married to Geoff Parrish, and together they have two boys, Samuel and Pate. They are expecting their third child in December. She has four dogs and spends much of her time volunteering with The People for Change and the Hinesville Area Arts Council.
Pratt, the chamber’s new membership director, came on board in May. Her main goal is to recruit new members, while retaining veteran members and getting everyone involved. She also works to make sure members’ needs are met.
She is a graduate of Liberty County High School and a 2011 graduate of South Carolina State University.
She is the daughter of Ervin and Ann Ogden and the late Micheal Pratt. Pratt has one brother, Harrison, and a Pekingese chihuahua named Monti. She enjoys watching movies, dancing and singing, but only in the car. She is a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma and the National Sorority Inc.
