Coastal Kids Clothing and Gifts hosted a ribbon cutting May 7 at 131 S. Main St. in Hinesville in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.

“On behalf of my wife Wendy, I would like to thank everyone for coming. This is her special project that she has worked very hard on, and she regrets not being available today,” Nathaniel Merritt said.

Coastal Kids Clothing and Gifts offers new and lightly used children’s clothing. Patrons can find clothing, shoes and accessories for children, ages 0-12.  Custom-painted furniture, gifts and room décor also are offered.

Customers are encouraged to bring in items their children have outgrown to earn store credit.

“I have been so happy to work with Wendy on this project. She is such a wonderful person, and she truly cares about the families of this community,” store associate Kenda Brand said. “Before now, Hinesville didn’t have a children’s clothing store. Wendy wanted to make it easier for families to buy quality clothing without having to travel too far.”

“We would like to welcome you to the chamber family and wish you continued success,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.
