Fireball Run is a web-based show.

The Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau will host a booth on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Hinesville Farmers Market in Bradwell Park.

The CVB will promote “The Fireball Run,” an adventure reality series that will film in Liberty County on Oct. 1. The CVB staff will have information about “Fireball Run” and will give away free pizza — supplies are limited — for those who sign up to receive the CVB newsletter and say a phrase on camera about Fireball Run.

“We’re hoping to reach a large crowd at the Farmers Market,” said CVB Program Manager Amanda Scott. “‘The Fireball Run’ teams will be in downtown Hinesville during Farmers Market hours Oct. 1, so we hope that we can have a big crowd to welcome them. We just want to spread the word about it in as many ways as possible.”

“Fireball Run” is in its ninth season, and this season is called “Space Race.” Four international astronauts will compete along with more than 40 driving teams. “Fireball Run” is an eight-day, 2,000-mile trivia game, which is part live event, part live streamed and part entertainment series.

“We cannot wait to have all of these folks in Liberty County, and we’re even more excited about our episode of this show airing next year internationally so that people can see all that we love about our coastal community,” said CVB CEO Leah Poole.

For more information, call the CVB at 912-368-3580, or follow the CVB on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for updates on “Fireball Run.” Previous seasons of “Fireball Run” can be accessed at www.fireballrun.com.
