For the cause: During a recent promotion called Film and Food for a Cause, the GA Theatre Company, which owns Liberty Cinemas, raised $7,733 for the United Way in Liberty County. The organization designated half of its funds to go into the community investment fund and the other half was given to an anonymous military family in need.
