Holtzman reappointed to real estate board

ATLANTA – Gov. Sonny Perdue announced last week the reappointment of Hinesville resident George W. Holtzman to the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
The 62-year-old Holtzman is co-owner and broker of Coldwell Banker Holtzman, Realtors. He is president of Holtzman Insurance Agency and Holtzman Real Estate Services, Holtzman School of Real Estate and All American Storage and U-Haul in Hinesville. He has served as the chairman of the Georgia Real Estate Commission and is a former president of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the Association of the U.S. Army, Coastal Empire chapter. He is an Army Vietnam Purple Heart recipient and serves as the military liaison for the Hinesville Military Affairs Committee.
Holtzman is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He and his wife, Barbara, have one grown child and two grandchildren.
