A local firm, the Yellow Bluff Co., LLC, came away with top honors at the prestigious CNBC International Property Awards hosted in London recently: Best Development — five stars (the top award), Best Marina Development,  four stars, and Best Property Marketing, four stars.
Fifty-six countries participated in the competition. The award categories were broken down into five main areas of the globe:  Asia Pacific, Arabia, Europe and Africa, UK, and the Americas.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase Yellow Bluff, Liberty County, and Coastal Georgia to a worldwide audience,” said Allen Brown, a partner of Yellow Bluff Co. along with Ren Keel of Hinesville and Fred Shore of Gainesville, Fla.
“Now that the competition has concluded, Yellow Bluff is showcased in a four-page spread along with other top country winners in the World’s Best Magazine with global distribution,” he said. “We were invited to enter, and we did not want to miss the opportunity to be viewed by the international audience. Our Yellow Bluff team is thrilled with the outcome. Our Yellow Bluff development earned the same five star designation as the Trump World Tower by Trump Organization and Daewoo/Costas Kondylis & Partners of NY.”

Award sponsors
Sponsors of the 2007 International Property Awards included CNBC, Daily Mail UK, International Homes, Lycos, Hirsch, and Domain. The New York Times is the media partner for the Americas.  The international panel of judges is chaired by member of the British Parliament, Eric Pickles. Supporters include the National Association of Realtors (US).

Other distinctions
Yellow Bluff was also named a “residential development of distinction” by Pulse on America for their America’s Best Series.
