In Hinesville-Fort Stewart, home prices, including distressed sales, declined by 12.36 percent in February 2010 compared with February 2009, according to First American CoreLogic, a financial services company that specializes in surety and title insurance. Excluding foreclosures and other distressed transactions, the year-over-year house price index for February was down 8.01 percent, compared to January, when prices were down 6.12 percent.
