Jones Medical Equipment recently opened its new location at 481 E.G. Miles Parkway, suite B. The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had a grand opening and ribbon ceremony June 1. The new medical equipment store is next door to Hinesville Pharmacy and across from Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Jones Medical Equipment was started in 1993 by brothers and pharmacists Alan and Carey Jones. What began as a part-time business in their pharmacies soon grew to become its own business. Starting with a single location in Jesup, the company now has locations in Hinesville, St. Marys,

Waycross and Brunswick and employs 33 people in the area.

JME is a full-service medical equipment company that provides respiratory services, diabetic supplies, power chairs, walkers and more. JME is accredited by the joint commission and accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and most private insurances.

In addition to medical-equipment sales and service, the company has expanded to sell medical and school uniforms in their “Just Uniforms” stores.  Locations in Jesup, Hinesville, and soon to open in Fernandina Beach/Yulee, Florida.
