Judge Charles Paul Rose Jr. has been elected to the board of directors of South Georgia Bank.
"We are certainly fortunate to have someone with Paul's experience, talents and background to serve on our board. We look forward to his contribution to our organization," said Jimmy Dubberly, CEO of South Georgia Bank, when he made the announcement.
Rose is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism, and a graduate of the Mercer School of Law. He currently serves as Superior Court Judge in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit. Rose was involved in private law practice for 15 years before being elected judge. He also previously served on the Hinesville City Coucnil.
Rose serves on the Council of Superior Court Judges, executive committee member. He has served as mayor pro-tem for Hinesville for eight years, past officer of the Hinesville Jaycees, past president of the Bradwell Booster Club and was a member of the Downtown Development Authority. He is a member of Flemington Presbyterian Church.
Rose lives in Bellville with his wife, Lisa, and their son, Tyler. He has two daughters, Hallie, who lives in Savannah, and Allison, who lives in Milledgeville.
