The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for Horizon Behavioral Health on May
13 to celebrate the opening of its new facility at 508 N. Main St., Suite A, in Hinesville.
Horizon employees, friends, family and Chamber staff gathered to celebrate the occasion. Chamber board member P.J. Schneider congratulated Horizon on the new facility and welcomed attendees to the event.
Horizon Behavioral Health treats adolescents and adults by offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychological evaluations and individual, couple and family counseling. Horizon offers specialized care for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, conduct disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.
Horizon Behavioral Health has been in business for more than four years and was located at 790 Veterans Parkway in Hinesville. After completing a year-long renovation, the new Horizon facility has opened its doors.
“I am very happy about all that Horizon has achieved in the last four years,” said Dr. Afolarin Banjoko, psychiatrist and owner of Horizon Behavioral Health. “I am confident that this is just the beginning.”
