McDonald’s restaurants in the area are looking to fill up to 1,000 positions as they staff up for the summer, one of the busiest times of the year for restaurants.
McDonald’s local owner/operators are seeking up to approximately 13 candidates per restaurant, who wish to start a career with McDonald’s. Opportunities in all positions — crew, shift manager, assistant manager, restaurant manager and supervisor — are available at all 54 McDonald’s restaurants, including in Liberty County.
“We believe the words ‘welcome to McDonald’s’ should apply to our employees just as much as our customers.” said Gary Stanberry, an owner/operator. “We’re proud of the jobs we create and the opportunities we provide to our employees.”
McDonald’s offers training and education benefits, flexible schedules and scholarship opportunities. Benefits include programs like Archways to Opportunity, a set of education programs to help employees pursue educational goals and a path to a career, be it providing English as a second language courses, access to a high school completion, college tuition assistance, college credits or advising.
