MidCoast Regional Airport welcomed Greg Schramuk as the new general manager this month, and he is prepared to help the airport’s business take off. Schramuk has education, training and flight experience by his side; he holds a degree in aviation management and a commercial pilot’s license with a certified instructor endorsement.
“My primary goal is to increase traffic, and to let people know that we’re here,” Schramuk said.
Schramuk said the executive airport’s amenities and location make it appealing to frequent travelers looking for a better bargain than larger, commercial airports.  At MidCoast Regional, pilots receive supplies, planes get refueled and visitors have access to services such as a conference room, pilot lounge, ground transportation services and aircraft hangars.
MidCoast’s services are essentially the same as what pilots and travelers will find at larger airports such as Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport, “for half the price,” Schramuk said.
MidCoast Regional Airport is a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) located at Wright Army Airfield on Fort Stewart. For more information on the airport and its services, contact Schramuk at 912-877-4364.
