The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Hinesville will be co-hosting a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Friday, March 10th, for the new Oglethorpe Square Shopping Center located on W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville (near the Walmart Supercenter). The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 12 noon and the community is invited to attend the celebration.

 “The level of national retailers and restaurants in this development is a testament to our community’s commitment to growth and progress,” said City of Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown. “I look forward to the success of this shopping center and the benefits it will bring to not only our citizens, but to the people of neighboring communities,” said Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown.

 There will be refreshments courtesy of Panera Bread as well as bounce houses and other fun activities, courtesy of Graceland Bounce.

 “We are beyond excited to see Oglethorpe Square officially open,” said Poole, Chamber/CVB CEO. She further stated that the impact to the local community has already been huge with record numbers of people turning out for job fairs held by the various stores.
