Inspirations Performance Studio recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception. Owner Juanita Lowery and her staff opened the new facility at 913 E.G. Miles Parkway, suite A-1. The studio offers jazz, tap, piano, voice, African dance, lyrical/praise, hip-hop and creative movement lessons for students. Adult classes include zumba, sweating in the spirit, jazzercise and yoga. Courses run from October through May. Inspirations Performance Studio also offers summer classes, workshops and summer kids’ camps.
Lowery said she opened the studio because she’s always been committed to training aspiring young dancers and taking dance into communities where children and teens have limited access to instruction.
Inspired Performing Arts is a nonprofit performing arts company. Lowery said she wants to cultivate area residents’ interest in performing arts through a variety of community-based performances.
Liberty County Chamber of Commerce members, ambassadors, family and friends toured the new facility and enjoyed refreshments after the ceremony.
