The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting May 7 for The Wireless Company’s Verizon retail store at 764 W. Oglethorpe Highway, Suite B in Hinesville.

The store is celebrating the official grand opening of its new location after previously being on Gen. Screven Way in the plaza next to Petsense.

Chamber board member Hasit Patel welcomed The Wireless Company to the Chamber and expressed appreciation to everyone for attending the event.

The Wireless Company owns 15 Verizon stores in three states throughout the Southeast and is  headquartered in Dothan, Alabama.

“We recognize the potential here,” said Richie Crowder, owner of The Wireless Company. “We look forward to working with the community and doing business in Liberty County.”

The Wireless Company offers a full line of Verizon products and services including home-phone service, tablets and 4G Internet. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1:30-6 p.m. Sunday.
